RAHAB is a non-profit Christian ministry of volunteers devoted to rescuing and restoring women who are trafficked into prostituion in Akron, OH. Human trafficking is happening right here - not just overseas.
RAHAB seeks out girls who are being coerced onto our own streets as prostitutes. They meet with them, pray with them, shelter them and walk alongside them to a new life of freedom and healing through Jesus Christ. Their mission is providing hope in Christ to broken women.

This energetic couple served 12 years in costa Rica before returning to Lawrenceville, GA in 1998. Currently, Gene and Martha work with CAM International planting Hispanic churches in the Southeast.
Haven of Rest Ministries
Founded in 1943 as a small storefront rescue mission, Haven of Rest is now one of the largest private social service agencies in the Summit, Portage, Medina, Stark, Tuscarawas, Wayne and Holmes counties. Haven of Rest provides Christ-centered programs and services that respond to the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of homeless and poor men, women and children.

The Graham's are with World Bridge Ministries. World Bridge Ministries goal is for more local churches to be involved in world evangelization on a church wide, personalized and strategic basis. The Graham's hold seminars at local churches to share how they can be committed to world evangelism not only promote the Gospel overseas, but also at home. They work as consultants too.
Broken Chains Ministry of Summit County
Broken Chains Ministry is a non-denominational mission organization headquartered in the Summit County Jail in Akron, OH. Their mission is to form relationships with those that are incarcerated by evangelizing, discipling, equiping and aiding in the re-entry of these individuals back into the community. Approximately 16,000 men and women from our community are incarcerated each year, 700+ men and women are incarcerated in this maximum security facility each day.
Urban Vision is a ministry in Akron's North Hill area. They run an after school program for over 90 children that includes help with homework, assisting students to get to grade level, games, Christian teaching and dinner. They also, run a day school. The bulk of the students they serve are African-American or immigrants from war torn countries.
